What a tiring yet eventful and fruitful day i had yesterday! LOL.. went to watch AYG beach volleyball and it was great! the moment i arrived, i managed to watch the Japan and Thailand girls match! it was an interesting match b'cos both teams are very good! haha.. and guess wat? thai took the 1st set then japan took the 2nd and subsequently japan took the last set! which was very shocking cos most of us tot that thai would win, b'cos they were southeast asia champion...i think maybe it's b'cos they underestimated their opponent. Anyway great match! next was the China and indonesia match, the guys from indo are very very strong! They beat the china guys flat! haha.. But the china guys are jus tall but not fast enough to defence and their blocking isn't as good as the indo team.. then at the same time the china and indo girls are also playing a match, so i went over to watch b'cos i knew indo guys will win. haha.. so went over to the centre court to watch the girls match, over here the girls are helping the guys take revenge! LOL.. in this case the indo girls are like the china guys only difference is that they are petite.Next exciting match was the chinese taipei and thailand, they played a very close match! the scores were so close! it was as if they were playing the finals la..haha.. the taipei guys put up a good fight but eventually lost to the thai guys.. It's ok! u ppl did a great job! LOL Another match, which i think the singapore guys played well! they played against japan and they won 2-0! Congrats! haha.. they did a great job, but wat i feel is that japan could have played better..maybe it's b'cos they lost the 1st match to saudi arabia then straight after that they had training then go for the match... so they have lost their morale and are tired from the training b'cos the weather was very hot! the singapore girls won too.. but i dun like the girls.. so ya.. haha they won becos the mongolia team wasn't very good but they are very pretty! (can see their photo when alvin upload the photo) haha so even if our girls won there is nothing to be so happy about!The last match of the day was chinese taipei and bahrain guys, this match was the most exciting match of the day! haha... taipei took the 1st set with 21 to 14, then during the second set bahrain player became more aggressive and this time taipei player no.1 was making a few mistakes and so bahrain players took this opportuinity to attack him..hence they managed to get at least 5 points in a go.. There after taipei worked hard to get the points back but lost the 2nd set to bahrain..it's a waste b'cos they could have won the 2nd set (but there were quite a few mistakes in service and defence) so here comes the show down! haha... the last set which is only 15 points was even more exciting! they score was super close and 1st taipei was leading with a slight score of 1 then nx bahrain was leading by 1 and so on..lastly was bahrain 12 and taipei 13, service on taipei. But they didn't manage to get the ball over the net, so it's a deuce. Thank god they manage to get the nx point with a wonderful spike by taipei no.2 the main point scorer of the team. The last point was taken by taipei with a beautiful block and that's the end of the match! haha eveyone was supporting taipei so when they won, u can hear the crowd cheering.SO EXCITING RIGHT!! i made the right choice to go down to watch if not i would have missed out all these wonderful matches! haha.. there were other matches like taipei and sri lanka (girl) taipei won, qatar and bahrain guys (forgot who won, lol), phillipines and sri lanka girls (phillipines won), japan and saudi arabia (saudi arabia won), mongolia and KZA (KZA won) But i nv really stay to watch all the other teams b'cos i was at other courts..LOL I took photo with quite a few teams! HAHA.. but i got sunburnt! damn! but it is worth it! b'cos it is a once in a lifetime expereince! haha
